This new mobile brand will be all things entertainment in DeKalb, Ill. It is a mobile-based project targeting students at the local four-year university and community college and young adults living in the area. It will be an essential tool for those who are out and about.

Shaw Media is looking for an editor to make the vision a reality. In this position, you will be responsible for producing and managing all content for the project. Through stories, videos and photos, you will cover the local bar scene, music scene and arts scene. You will manage multiple platforms and build a community through a social media presence.

The ideal candidate craves being out and and about and possesses a personality that stands out in a crowd. We are looking for someone who is as adept at previewing a local concert with words as he or she is at shooting and editing video from the concert. The successful candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, reliable transportation and acceptable motor vehicle record. The editor must understand promoting the brand and the content are one in the same.
